Lindsay eden

Marianne qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 2006 from the University of Southampton. Since then she has worked in a number of teaching hospitals and clinics  across London gaining a wide variety of clinical experience, and has spent time helping to develop physiotherapy services overseas in Bangladesh and South America.

Marianne began specialising in treating neurologically impaired patients at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square in 2012 and has enhanced this training through further sub-specialty experience such as the Bobath Concept, vestibular rehabilitation, spasticity management and using Pilates to help people with neurological conditions achieve their functional goals. She is passionate about the importance of recognising her clients' full potential and helping them realise this through the rehab process.

Lindsay was born and grew up in South Africa where she attended the University of the Witwatersrand for four years to attain an honours degree in physiotherapy. After qualifying, she worked in a large hospital in South Africa, rotating through various areas of physiotherapy as a junior.

In 2011 she moved to England and has worked in numerous government hospitals and departments in permanent roles as well as private contracts. Lindsay has always had a keen interest in neurology, and has become highly experienced in this area after working in various settings, from the acute through to outpatient clinics.

Lindsay established Eden Neuro Rehab in 2015 after years of frustration at the limited time and extent of rehab that patients were receiving, and feeling disappointed by having to say goodbye to patients who had so much further to go but were not being allowed to reach their full potential. Her vision with this service was to give patients the rehabilitation that they needed, in a way that worked for them and made their lives easier, not more complicated.
